Until more events like this occur, with the rotten apples pitched out of the basket, the police here will continue to be the butt of jokes around the world. Tasked with protecting the people from criminals, they use their power to in fact prey upon the people. Sickening......

Agree The word Royal should not apply as it is suggesting different to it's actions, and surely job descriptions have long gone thrown out of the window. Isn't the shameless use of the prefix "Royal" by this corrupt bunch of scammers, extortionists, robbers, rapists, murderers and abusers of power a case of lese majeste in itself?

None of the police in this post, or any of the officials will be in prison next week, that is for sure. This is not good news for Thailand, this is just more of the bad news for Thailand. Prison is for the poor, anyone with a few mill in the bank will always be allowed out. This is one of the things that Suthep wants to change, love him or hate him. But he knows you have to clean up politics first and then the politicians will clean up the police from the top down. but he's corrupt too , ..........how can he lead by example ? , the only way i can see is 1;/ to set up another police force, starting by recruiting the police who bring cases like this into the open ,.... whistle blowers so to speak ' and give this force over-riding powers over the BIB ,similar to an "internal affairs " force that can expel the bad apples , which will be around 85% imo, the BIB are a joke and just a mafia in uniform .....its frightening how corrupt they are , and 2;/ give them a decent wage/salary and stop them handling any money what so ever ,..and the way they are recruited , eg ; the more you pay the higher up the rankings you go ,........ incredible and open to corruption the day they pay to join a system that should protect the very ppl they extort , i feel so sorry for the thais having to live with this trash 'serving' them .
Credo
I believe that the Border police is different from the regular police. Someone might know more about this than I do. I also believe that the person that was kidnapped and raped was someone with influence.

OZEMADE
Looks like the Thai's did not like their position on them being about 11 on the most corrupt countrys in the world. No doubt someone will put in the right position on the ladder. I wonder how Abhisit and Suthep are feeling now with their murder charges and other charges being made against them. Good to see for a change the clean up going on, looks like something has got through after the world media spoke out on corruption.
