Lake with a resort about 1 hour from cm?

i remember reading about a beutifull lake with some bungalows or a resort(on the water) in nice settings about an hour or so from chiang mai,forgot the name though..anyone has the name of the lake or resort?

Yes it is Mae Ngat which is in Srilanna National Park. The best accommodation and food is at Ekachai which is a fifteen minutes boat ride from the dam wall parking area. Well worth a day out but I found the constant creaking of the accommodation made sleeping difficult but I am a very light sleeper. Waking up and throwing myself straight into the lake a 6am was a hoot.

Mountain Float is a bit pricey for some but wonderful accommodation and away from the masses. Great for a large group/couples/families.
