Replaced by an even more unconstitutional control over Thailand without even the slightest electoral mandate. A clear and obvious step back, brought to you by Suthep a guy that exceeds Thaksin in corruption. But hey, that must be allright, after all he is from Surat and is cheering for the other side...

Does it really matter? I think both Thaksin and Suthep should go to jail. Do you really think that Kamnan Suthep who just was a small fry in 1967 could have build himself a business empire in the South without going into politics? What reform did he really wanted in 2010 ? When in power he did nothing except ordering the killings of around 100 demonstrators. When Abhisit and Suthep were in power they never mentioned reform. They had over 1 year to fix the system. If they couldn't fix it when they were in power I am sure they will not fix it this time.

Popular Post jackrich
Let's not forget Suthep has a case ending with the DSI where he transferred hundreds of Rai of state land in Koh Samui to friends and family members, including his son. Strangely, the hard drives with those files went missing during the Chaeng Watthana occupation. Suthep's goal is not democracy but to avoid going to jail for corruption and the murders of 80+ people.

He was out the front of my apartment today. Not a policeman in sight. He also hasn't run away from a jail sentence. He also hasn't got 80+ murder charges against him.

The reds were all about destruction, these protestors are organized, peaceful, and, most interesting of all, paying the leader money to continue the protest! Before they can lay a murder charge against him, they need to decide that someone has been murdered. They haven't done that for most of the deaths, so I don't know how you can say that he has 80 murder charges.

Popular Post jonclark
Reading the post on TVF for the last few days. It seems TV really has become a mini microcosm of Thailand's parliament - two opposed groups , shouting and screaming at each other, trying to prove the other side is the more wrong then their side, no semblance of constructive debate or discussion of inclusive mutually acceptable solutions. It would appear a number of expat posters on TV have more in common with the mindset of a Thai politicians than they thought!!!
