Simple really,

How do you clear what you have searched for on google?

Every time I click on the bar to write something it brings up past searches and is really doing my head in.

Cheers TV :o

Clear the cache on your browser, under properties.

Try this in Firefox:

Click Tools -->> Options -->> Saved forms

Untick "save information..."

What is the way to do this in Internet Explorer.

Will I lose all the information stored in Auto Complete etc?

The simplest way is just right click and select "Clear Search History"

Is that with IE?

I have FireFox and I have tried right clicking in a window with google opened and no clear history is listed.

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Cheers :D

My apologies, I misunderstood your original question. My response was referring to the Google Search bar at the top of Firefox which is where I enter my queries rather from the Google window.
