Budget hotel in Central London

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anybody suggest a reasonable budget hotel in central London any area central London.

HMP is not an option biggrin.png

Thanks

I would guess that Earls Court area will have some cheaper places. Look also at Travelodge and Premier Inn. London is generally expensive for hotels, and what you get.

Tune Hotels.

There are a load of cheap places, but it's a bit of a rat/cockroach infested minefield..

One place I can recommend, because I actually lived there a couple of times, is Hyde Park Rooms.. The woman that runs it is a bit mad, but nice enough.

They like you to pay in cash for some reason.

Another place I had an extended stay was Earls Court Gardens hotel.. Great location, flea pit hotel. Very cheap, but don't do it to yourself. That place always comes up as the cheapest in any search, but it's scummy.

The Continental Hotel Hounslow wasn't too bad and is a similar price to Hyde Park Rooms and has a pool.

Other cheapies around the back of Victoria Station and near Hyde Park Rooms in the Paddington area.

This can offer some of the best options.

Easy(jet) hotel, cheap, clean, small, everything except sleeping is extra. (same system as Tune)

The orange color scheme may keep you awake though.

The Easy Hotel in Paddington is near the place I suggested.. It has a decent fish and chip shop over the road and is in a pretty good location.

Budget and clean consider Youth Hostels, generally with self-catering kitchens to further save costs, YHA offers a range of locations in London or the outskirts.

Discount for existing YHA/Hostelling-International card-holders !

In your dreams.....

Perhaps a room.

As someone said google TUNE HOTELS ... prices start from about 45GBP. I believe that Tune also have a hotel in Pattaya. You pay extra for a towel etc.
