KittenKong Posted December 31, 2013 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Be aware that domestic car insurance (even "premium" or "first class") specifically excludes cover for hire or reward. If you rent from a private individual (or a dodgy car hire agency) this could leave you driving with no insurance. And that's one hell of a way to start the new year. And yes, from a decent car rental. Not interested in Mr. Somchai 's uninsured ride.
