Farang married to Thai lady and 2 babies. Mother is a danger to the babies and her mother and father have seen it. She has almost stabbed the babies and beats them.

Need to know rights and how to get mother help in psychiatric hospital probably against her will. Need to protect 2 babies and if I have to take them out of the country.

Any advice appreciated especially names of lawyers who specialize in these sort of things in Bangkok

You need proof that the mother is a danger to the children, with proof an emergency order can be obtained to give the other parent sole parental rights.

If she is a danger to others, than I believe she can be committed to a psychiatrically ward by a judge, again proof is needed and a psychiatrist will need to make an assessment.

I don't know exact procedures, that is best asked for from a lawyer in family law and you could try and contact the duang prateep foundation for advise etc.
