Featured Replies

is it open for international travellers

,Has anyone actually used it

did the uk passport holders get 30 days

I'd also really like to know about this as well, particularly from someone who has actually done a border hop there recently, if it's indeed open to foreigners now. Thanks for any solid info.

"Chiang Mai Getting Ready to Open Kiw Pa Wok Border Crossing to Burma in Chang Dao"
It's 120 km due north of Chiang Mai, so border-hoppers might go up and back in a day or stop over at Chiang Dao, Doi Angkhang, Mae Ai, Thaton, etc. See a lonely but beautiful corner of the far north.

Moved to Chiang Mai forum for local knowledge.

Link in Visa forum.

Moved back to here. Already ongoing topic on CM forum.
