I am currently on a Non-B visa because I was going to work at a school, and the job didn't work out.

Can I safely leave the Kingdom at the end of my Non-B without a Work Permit? Or will I be questioned/face overstay fees?

You can simply stay and don't have to worry. Only an extension of stay would have to be cancelled, you are not on an extension of stay.

If you have a visa it will not be a problem.

If you were on an extension of stay you could have problem at a border crossing if it was not cancelled.
