For another adventure take the motorbike taxi from outside Cowboy to Nana, where they can open it up on Sukhumvit. Get a motorbike from the stand on Sukhumvit for a more reasonable price.

To the OP. Moderation in drink and other activities is suggested. A good time, in my opinion, is returning to your hotel with all faculties intact, no urethral burning/oozing lesions after the incubation period and no arrest stories to explain when your friend gets home.

The media is awash with stories of visitors that have had less than a memorable experience in pursuit of the adventure of a life time.
