My house spilleth over with motorbikes.. Parts.. Spares.. trailer.. And my brothers crud and clutter...

While non essential I wouldnt mind a combination lockup, workshop, and man cave..

It would want to be a lot larger than a single shophouse width, If I do it I would want a space I could do a project car in as well as stick bikes. At least a double width garage space.

I would want it on the south west side of the city.. Canal Rd, out as far as Hang Dong or over to Saraphi all work.. Even south San Kamphaeng tho prefer to be SW rather than S or SE.

It will have zero commercial activity so being near a main road or where people can access it like a business for customers isnt an advantage, cheaper is an advantage.

It should have water and electric (for a beer fridge).

It will need to lock down securely, it wont have mega value put there but I dont want to have my bikes and tools easy to rip off either. Being overlooked by dodgy cheap boarding rooms with itinerant workers is a big negative for this. I would pay to put in an alarm possibly too.

If anyone encounters anything, Mae Hia, Samoeng Junction, Nahm Prea.. For 1000's not 10s of 1000s per month.. I would love to know.

I know theres hang dong storage place, who offered me a container of my own.. But I want to go and access it frequently, use it as a workshop, etc etc.

Best just look for an old shop house in a bad location for business but having cheap rent .Just drive around and look for a notice on the door .It will be hard to get a double one cheap so best to look for a single long one .Have a Thai speaker ring up for you .

Single shophouse doesnt provide the space to do a project car in.. You want some width to move around the car and I will need to get my bikes in and out which if theres a half done car doesnt work. As stated in the OP thats a non starter.

Also shophouses are in general terms on a roadside business friendly location.. Which while not a drawback I guess will I assume lead to a higher cost.

Bit of lockup space seems so hard to find.

Anyone have an idea what a shipping container would cost me here ??
