I am looking for a Kawasaki KLR 650 or 250

any suggestions?

Second choice is the Honda super four. Any opinions, and why are they so darn popular?

I see from the local bike mags that Kawasaki advertise a 300cc 4stroke trail bike as an official Thai model I cant remember the exact model off hand and it was priced at over 200,00 baht.

I will have to look into that bike you mentioned. The size seems fine.

The thing is the price. When you start talking that kind of money, you get choices. For instance, the Super four goes for less than that (commonly). But you do not get the off road ability.

That is why I wanted a "dual sport" like the KLR type bike. Now I am not much on the looks, but what do you do?

Thanks, I will see what I can do to find more info on that kawasaki.

Go to www.mocyc.com and near bottom of page you will see Bigbike. Lots of sport bikes.

I checked this place out yesterday http://www.tpmotorcycle.com/products/listproduct.asp

They had a large selection, and they all seemed to have good English. They just did not have the KLR that I am looking for. From what research I have done, it seems as though the KLR is the best dual sport out there, other than the BMW.

I am not sure if I will ever fine a KLR, now I have seen the KSR pretty regularly now. I do like the looks of the KSR but it is 100cc. I think the engine was provided by "Singer" the sewing machinge company.

I have to pass on that.
