Visa Extension

Hi All TV PPL,

I have already extended my 30 day entry visa in Immigration office for 7 days, can I extend it again or is this not possible at immigration or do I have to re entry through border.

​The 7 days given were to enable you to leave the country in an orderly manner !

If you wish to stay longer it will be necessary to leave either to obtain a tourist visa or a new 30 day visa exempt enry.

No further extensions are available. You must exit and return to get another visa exempt entry.

You will have to do a border run to get any additional time. The 7 days to leave you got is one time only.

Thanks for the replies. One more question, if I do a border run and get the standard 15 days on re entry at Thai border, can I extend in immigration in Thailand for 2 months because I have a Thai child?

If your name is on your child's birth certificate and have their house book you could of gotten the 60 day extension instead of the 7 day extension. You might even be able to get one with out doing the border run. You could make a trip to immigration with the required documents and try.
