7 day old Thai-Iranian child abandoned by its Mother in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Late on Sunday Night a Motorbike Taxi Driver arrived at Pattaya Police Station with a newborn child which had reportedly been abandoned by its Mother.

Khun Samai aged 42 works as a Motorbike Taxi Driver on the Pratamnuk Road close to the entrance of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort and became friends with the mother of the child, known as “Kay” aged around 27. She had given birth 7 days before the incident to a healthy baby boy to an Iranian father.

The parents were fighting constantly and Khun Samai assisted the Mother and Child on a number of occasions. He gave her money to rent an apartment and to go back to her home province.

On Sunday Night, she met with Khun Samai again and asked him if he could take care of the child while she went to Walking Street to collect clothes from her Husband’s room.

Hope that nice new parents will be found for the child instead of the unworthy real parents.

Mother is possibly suffering from postnatal depression.

Cant be easy being in her shoes.
