They had it in Rimping, but too expensive so I cheated and used full cream milk + 10% fresh lime juice. About 10 minutes to whip the cream with a fork, I put bowl, fork and cream in the freezer for 15 minutes first to make it easier. I use Waitrose Self Rising it doesn't rise & I've added extra baking powder and still flat. Flour I use TFM Special cake flour (32bht/kg) + 6% Baking powder (to turn it into self-raising flour) Still flat .... 1 old baking powder (open more than 6 months) 2 old self-raising flour (open more than 6 months) 3 Over kneading 4 Using baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate doesn't work) I use this recipe http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1729/ultimate-scones Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
