Gmail notifier only gives a short notification it is ending

Featured Replies

Having used this little tool (Gmail notifier) in Windows taskbar notifications, it will soon no longer be (available?) by the end of this month. If one needs this (agree some find it annoying) methinks the alternatives suck.

For the most part, I find Google and their products to be very useful. However, for some reason, they will sometimes discontinue a perfectly useful product. For me, seeing them stop Igoogle and google latitude were somewhat nonsensical, I used both products every day.

I just read recently that Google is working on a new version of Chrome that will have enhanced Google Now functions including improved notifiers. I can't put my fingers on the article right but I seem to remember that it was on CNet. Try their website. Google is busily working to improve its Chrome Browser and OS.
