Has anyone had experiences with Dr. Siwaporn Chainuvati?

Any recommendations and feedback (both positive & negative) on gastroenterologists in Bangkok is greatly appreciated.

She is one of the leading experts on liver disease in Thailand and a professor at a leading medical school. Did a residency at Yale Univ. You can't get much better qualified than that, but it may also depend on exactly what your problem is, I believe liver is her primary focus. There are other top GI specialists in Thailand with other sub-specialties. So maybe explain specifically what the problem is....

Surasak Aekpongpaisit M.D. at Samitivej Hospital Sukhumvit, he is the head of the Liver and Digestive Institute .. long story short, he is the best.

I suspect Crohn's or some other IBD's. A bowel specialist?

In that case it is important to have a doctor who has trained/worked in a western country as this problem is rare in Thailand. I suggest one of the following:

I've hesard from some people who saw Dr. Varocha, otherwise no. Generally good feedback on her.

When I first came here, it was all pretty predictable. Nights out, bars, always somewhere busy. That was the routine. These days it’s different. Quieter, less going out. I still drop in now and then, but it’s not the center of things anymore. The scene itself feels different too.Fewer girls around, or just moved online? Prices definitely not what they used to be Thailand not quite the “cheap” place it once was So sometimes I wonder… has the place changed, or have I? Do you still live the same

You have to have your head 10 meters deep in the mud, the topic being TH does not change one item or it's relevance. That applies just as much, if not even more in that case, since they had both 4-5 decades of tourism to learn english, to change education and to improve farming and economics. As i said clearly with one word; on 25 years that is decline, not progress. Maybe 10-20 dozen families made progress but def not Thais themselves.

Yeah, Israel gets a lot of hate, but the Arab countries have a lot of problems as you point out. They have relied on massive oil reserves for wealth, so never had to struggle to innovate. In some ways, they are trapped in the medieval ages.
