Why is it always so very COLD, during the HOT season, in Thailand?
And that's 8. Incredible. I hope I'm not disturbing you while you converse with yourself. -

Tony Blair Cautions Starmer Against Retaliation Over Trump Tariffs
As much as I don't like Blair - he's right - Trumps new minimum rate is 10% and that's what he's chosen for the UK The morons in charge should thank him and move on because it could be a lot worse. There is now a massive economic advantage for the UK, for the time being. I doubt this will last that long and consider the whole thing to be transitory. -

Wow, 7 replies to your own OP and not a single response in between from anyone else. That must be a New World record for AN delusional behavior. Not to mention the seven music videos. But don't worry, I didn't read a single word of any of it. All I did was post this reply. I promise. You can go on talking to yourself without any further interruption. I'll leave it with you.- 1

Exit Thailand at end of NonB extention, then re-enter on a 60-day tourist visa-exempt stamp?
If you have a new passport by the time you return, for some reason that seems to magically solve most of the potential problems. Despite the fact they have everything right there in the computer. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
I don't believe that will fly. The assessability of the income is based on the source. Thai source = not taxed, foreign source = potentially taxed. Non-discrimination would apply to the person, not the income stream. Thai social security is not taxable, whether foreigner or Thai. Foreign social security is taxable (unless excluded by DTA), whether foreigner or Thai. Go back to stock sales. SET registered = no capital gains tax, foreign registered = taxed as ordinary income. That applies equally to nationals as to tax-resident foreigners. Consider deductions and allowances. Premiums paid to THAI insurance companies = deductible, premiums paid to foreign insurance companies = no deduction. Same equal application here, as well.
