Anyone know if the Post Office generally and in Bangkok specifically, is operating near to usual?

I know I had some foreign letters, that would have had to negotiate their way through Bangkok, delivered to me in Pattaya about a week ago, but my monthly 3BB Internet bill seems not to have appeared and I assume they originate in Bangkok. Maybe the printing and posting of bills by 3BB has been delayed.

Not vitally important, although some tax things from the US that might be coming soon would be. Still I don't want to find my Internet connection unexpectedly cut off. I suppose I can take last month's 3BB bill and see if it'll work at 7-Eleven a second time.

We were wondering where our True cell phone bill was and it finally showed up today, at least a week or two later than normal.

Get the true iservice app and you need not worry about bills again, do it all through the app.

Yes, mine's about a week to 10 days later than usual. I supposed it will show up before long ... otherwise I'll see if I can pay it based on last month's bill.

Tisco Finance receipt acknowledging payment not yet arrived for December, though they did send me an sms to tell me they'd received and my receipt would be delayed.

3BB bill not seen and not arrived - the wife take's care of that one. I do know she always pays them late, as does the neighbour. They both got very lively discussing the way 3BB make you pay in advance and decided to pay late. Never seem to get cut off.

I had an EMS package sent to me form Bangkok to Hua Hin last Wednesday and it took 2 days instead of the usual 1 day delivery.

I could see in the online tracking that it left Bangkok very late at night and arrived at the Ratchada processing facility later than it normally does when I compared it to previous packages so it must have missed the truck to the south and had to wait for an additional day.

This happened even though it was posted in the morning.

So I decided it best to stop at the Sukhumvit office of 3BB with a previous monthly statement and pay there.

The Internet connection at the 3BB office was down because they had no electricity ... although other shops in the area seemed to have lights on and such. It seems Murphy's Law is alive and well.

You can go online and make an account using your bill number and it will give you access to a lot of other services including viewing and paying your bill online.
