Chulalongkorn Hospital.

Featured Replies

I am trying to find this hospital's website online. There is the Chulalongkorn Memorial hospital and Chulalongkorn University hospital as well as the university itself. It seems they are all on one big campus.

I have tried Googling to try and find the website in English but no go so far. I have been able to get into certain sections but want to get to the homepage and see if they have a list of doctors that one can look at similar too Bumingrad.

I have tried phoning but the lines are either busy or I get through to someone that cannot speak English even though there is an English option on the telephone menu...

Any help out there would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They come under the Thai Red Cross and do not believe they have any independent web site. They would not be my choice for English language medical care unless there was a specific specialist that did not have hours at a more user friendly hospital.

Thai Red Cross

All the physicians that I met at Chula hospital spoke reasonably good English, some excellent. Well, as far as doctors at endocrinology department goes. Quite a few of them have side job at Bumrungrad. It's the nurses and the administrative staffs who don't speak English there. Staffs there are generally very professional and much more caring to your needs and friendlier than at Bumrungrad, albeit huge number of patients and long queue they have to handle. They treat you more like a patient, not like a customer.

Thanks for the summary Nordlys.

We use Chula for some of our Clinical Trials (a major pharma) - these guys are writing papers for respected journals worldwide - I can assure you they are writing for their peers in English.

The Hepatitus and Cancer Centres are well known.
