East Pattaya Petrol Vendor Robbed and Assaulted

PATTAYA:--In the early hours of Monday a 56 year old Petrol Vendor was punched in the stomach and then robbed of his takings by a gang of youths.

Police rushed to the scene of the crime but were too late to capture any of the assailants who were able to escape with a bag containing an estimated 3,000 Baht in takings.

Khun Samdee runs the small Petrol Stall in Soi Chayapornviti, East Pattaya and just before 4.30am, two young men, described as tall & thin and short & fat drove up beside the stall and acted as if they were preparing to purchase petrol for their bike.

Instead, the overweight youth produced a knife and ordered Khun Samdee to hand-over a bag which contained his day’s takings.
