I never said I want to be a teacher. You're right, it is better to ignore them, however as the chap was trying to sound so haughty and superior, it was just too tempting not to point out his own lack of English knowledge. My grammar is not perfect, neither is my knowledge, and my GF is able to correct me with technicalities that I never learnt, and I'm happy for that.

I'd much rather have a fairly decent education and an intelligent, educated GF than to have "the power of cash".

Basis of Thai society.

Class, cast, look, money, , skin color, appearance is everything here.

So this discrimination is a Thai thing?! Sometimes I wonder what rock some people have spent their lives under.
