Is it just a garden snake or something to be careful of? Anyone seen one before?

We see them in our yard from time to time. This one seemed curious of me long enough to get a shot off a couple years ago.

tree snake - see them all the time. I am told they are not poisonous, but I avoid them all.

Was wondering that also as the ones I've seen move like greased lightning. Seen one fly across a dirt road and up a tree in front of us in the blink of an eye. Hope this one is alive still.
