I like it a lot

Between this & their new 250 they have some very good

looking small displacement bikes.

Nice radial mounted front brake too with what looks like a decent caliper

USD fork

Nice clip-ons & pegs look set back

Yeah lots to like there.

Happy to see someone pushing more on the 125/250/300 class

Still my fav bike class by far

EDIT: BTW ...Not sure why your vid didn't embed.

I think original address has some added tail

Looks nice for kids.

14.7hp? I hope that was measured at the wheel and not the crank.

Sad. My old TZR125 had 26hp and my old NSR150sp having 39hp! Much fun when I was 16/17.

Looks great, but hardly going to be exciting to ride. Stick the faring onto a 20 yr old 125cc and then come back to me.

Looks very nice... way better than CBR150/250

but with the 125cc engine... you gotta be anorexic to enjoy this engine cheesy.gif

A 250 version would be more interesting. I love small bore bikes but a 125cc thumper? That's pushing the limit, and not in a good way.

Anything that small needs to be a smoker. If it's got to be a 4 stroke then it needs twice the cc and preferably 4 cylinders.

This looks like a bike to satisfy new riders in countries with tiered licensing laws. Looks good, but as already mentioned it has power similar to a 70,000 baht Suzuki Raider (but heavier). A sheep in wolfs clothing.

It's designed for a specific market. 14.7 BHP is the new power limit on 125cc learner bikes in the UK (up from 12 BHP). 17 year olds can have sports style but can't have sports power. Bikes like this have always sold well to youngsters starting out on bikes in Britain.

For sure & like others I am hoping for bigger 250/300/400/sizes

But what I am happy about is Yamaha is pushing in the same way KTM is

Meaning better suspension/brakes/weight etc. offered on small bores

Look at what Honda/Kawasaki offer on even their 600+cc bikes :(

If the others such as Honda, Kawasaki,Suzuki see this they will surely react

That could be a nice resurrection of good small bores like 20+ years ago smile.png
