tommytouch
Hi I'm based in Bangkok but will shortly be spending some time in Udon Thani. While there I'll need to apply for a 30 day extension to my tourist visa. I'm presuming I can do this with no problems at Udon immigration, a straight forward procedure no different to doing the same thing in Bangkok. Is this correct? Thanks for any help. ubonjoe
It will be the same. You will need an address in Udon to put on the form though. They might also ask for some proof of address.

ubonjoe
A hotel address is fine and a receipt for it as proof.you are staying there.
tommytouch
OK, that's good news. So you think that makes more sense than giving them my Bangkok address?
ubonjoe
They will want to see a local address. It is the same for most immigration offices.
