WISE - Banks that can receive money in Thailand
And the story goes on... As I knew last week that UOB was not more receiving money through WISE, I opted to open a Krungsri account last Friday. Yesterday morning, I transferred 10,000 THB from WISE to Krungsri. All seemed fine. Money should arrive in 10 min. Money debited on waiting to be credited with Krungsri. Nothing happened. I transferred yesterday morning 10k Thai Baht to THB from Wise to Krungsri/daughter's account and it was credited in seconds. 27 hours later, still nothing in my bank. Went to Krungsri and they couldn't locate anything. Called WISE. They are trying to find out what happened. I checked on WISE transfer confirmation and found something that I never saw before: Banking partner: TRANSGLO SGP (THB) Apparently many people having the same problems. Paying school fees, rent etc will now be a challenge. Waiting for feedback from WISE and Krungsri. -
