Hi

Has anyone done the STCW95 basic safety training at the MOGIT Training centre I've been going through the INTERNATIONAL. MARITIME ORGANIZATION and it say Thailand is on the white list. Just wondering if anyone has done these course or know where I can get these as I don't fancy going to the Uk this time of year.

Also from January 2014 you have to have a to do a security course for people designated doing security duties on board a ship (MARINE CREW ONLY). I hope someone knows something about this as I'm not supposed to be on the ship without it. Thanks for any help lads

MOGIT is indeed on the white list and runs these courses at least twice a week. The team there is professional and good to deal with. Check their website at www.mogit.org for information. Hope this helps.
