Best address to use when sending USPS International Express mail from states to Ao Nang?

Featured Replies

A friend is about to send me an important document via USPS International Express Mail (trackable). Is using my home address here ok, or would it be more prudent to specify that the recipient (me) will pick it up at the Thai Post Office here? Since it's trackable, if they notify me when it arrives at the local P.O., I can be there in about five minutes on my trusty motorbike. Seem like a good idea? This document was already sent once by regular mail well over a month ago and never arrived at my home address. Don't know what I was thinking, as there was such an obvious option! Can you tell I am a pretty new resident - very low on the learning curve?!

Thanx!

I have a P.O. Box which I use all the time. However, in your case I would have it sent to your home address. I assume you are living somewhere which gets mail deliveries on a regular basis.
