Has anyone seen Anise Extract, I've looked in Tesco, Foodland, Gourmet but can't find any.

I have a craving for home made liquorice and I used my last bit before Xmas.

Have you considered making it yourself? It's easy to do. Just fill up a jar with star anise, add vodka or rum - the higher the alcohol content the better - seal the jar and let it sit for 3 months. Shake it every week or so. Admittedly, maybe not fast enough for this time. But it will be there when you need your next fix.
