Navy SEAL chief says foreign force responsible for Trat attack

2-23-2014-3-41-40-PM-wpcf_728x413.jpg

BANGKOK: -- The commander of the Navy's SEAL elite troopers said foreign force was responsible for last night's bomb and gun attack at the rally site of the anti government People's Democratic Reform Committee which killed a 5-year-old girl and injured about 40.

Bangkok Post reporter Wassana Nanuam who has close connection with sources in the armed forces posted on her Facebook page that she had interviewed the SEAL commander about the attack in area under the Navy’s responsibility.

The commander Rear Admiral Winai Klom-in pointed his finger to foreign force as he had earlier warned.
He said who else dared to attack in this area under the Navy’s responsibility if not foreign force which he said was so brutal.

Asked whether this was an apparent defiance to the Navy, he did not reply but said a measure was being discussed seriously to retaliate, while admitting that the area under the Navy’s responsibility is so large and therefore protection might not be thorough.

He then said don’t ask who did it, adding he never expected they dared do it, Wassana wrote on her Facebook.

Which foreign country are they going to retaliate against?

Hey W B. we have to remember the threat from the aircraft carrier, inform the culprits they would not hesitate to use it. ( it is lethal for ramming)cheesy.gif

Pointers automatically go towards Cambodia, an ally of the Shins.

Foreign attack? And what about the attack in Klaeng a few weeks ago? Almost exactly the same type of attack. Very soft target. In Rayong and Trat, they don't expect attacks like they do in Bangkok. This is homegrown terrorism, plain and simple.

Could be you're right... But all investigations began with some sort of speculation, and an investigation is a process of confirming or negating speculation with fact. Perhaps the Seal commander spoke too early, or wasn't concerned with releasing the facts that would have pointed to a foreign entity.

We're all in the dark as to "who" did this one... but I think we all can reasonably speculate as to the "who is" behind it.

I'm a little slow, but I think I'm detecting a pattern in Thailand's political mess and subsequent accusations following an act of violence:

#1: Blame the opposing political party.

#2: Blame the victim's party for launching a faux-attack to get the public's sympathy.

#3: Blame the "black shirt" 3rd party of para-military sharp-shooters, whoever they may be, but probably mercenaries of the party that you hate.

#4: Blame any branch of the military which may be trying to stir things up to promote a coup.

#5: Blame the foreigners.

Have I missed anything?

And have an oh so famous reporter with secret handshake military connections, break the story on her Facebook page. blink.png

Military news flash: Thailand has, for the second time in as many months, been invaded and attacked by foreign forces. We know who's responsible (wink wink) and we just can't believe they had the temerity to attempt such a thing. We are thinking about considering a potential meeting next week sometime for the purpose of initiating brain storming toward a draft plan for a possible retaliation after approval from the Caretaker Command-in-Chief who, we also heard on Facebook, is at an undisclosed location in Bangkok. Maybe.

I would give more weight to it being drunk football hooligans [red ones] after Trat were defeated by Chiang Mai FC in the season opener there last night. The game ended not long before the attack. Trat football fans are notoriously aggressive and violence is a common thing at and/or after matches.

Let's think about this... What foreign country has an interest in Thai politics? Which foreign country has long standing secret oil deals with deals with Thailand negotiated by the Shins? Who is currently in control of a country that issued a passport and visa to the fugitive? Now, as to why the Navy thinks it was a foreign entity that did the Trat bombings it's simple... The attackers may have well been foreign, but it came from the Shins nonetheless.

Of course "It means nothing to be right". I have a suggestion for the Thaksinmanias. Ask suthep or whoever can finance to organize a mass Thaksinmania party at Cnetral to raise fund for people who suffered from Thaksinitis and those who need treatments for Thaksinphobia. It will be full of fun and funds. Will, does not matter where the funds will go to in the end since "it means nothing to be right".
