4 x4 hire, in Chiang Rai, for one week in April ...what did I miss out??

Have to say that the OP was quite clear with his requirements.

All the car hire places at the airport, easily Googled, would oblige.

Other than that the small travel agents in town would probably be cheaper but with vehicles of lesser quality.

Yes I've googled it, but seems to be all the big players , and are costly. Just though someone would have a contact for a smaller local firm...thanks anyway...

One of the guest houses in Jed Yod road that sold fresh bread, next to Wat Jed Yod.... had those little bangers, Suzuki 4wd I think, for a thousand Baht a day.

I haven't been there for a while though.
