Extension of Stay/Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

If a 60-day tourist visa and 30-day extension run out; how would I go about getting a new tourist visa? Also, on the 30-day extension of stay, how stringent are they regards 'financial details'?

Thanks

For the 30 day extension you do not need to show any financials, just pay for it.

A new tourist visa can be gotten in a neighbouring country, in Laos you can even get a double entry.

If financial qualification are met could op go for a non-imm. visa which would give him additional 90 days.

There are more than only financial qualifications to qualify for a non-immigrant visa. So far I do not see any reason why he should qualify for a non-immigrant visa.

it's actually my intention to get employment and get a non-immigrant visa as well as a work permit. The tourist visa / extension of stay is a temporary solution.

Is being over 50 the most popular reason for non-imm visas?

Aother option is the Education visa.
