Gregory Morozov
N54L is discontinued, now Generation 8 Microservers replaced it. This one: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/products/proliant-servers/product-detail.html?oid=5366896#!tab=features we sell for 15600 baht. There is also a model with Celeron CPU but I don't have the price at the moment.
sustento
I've got an N54L. Lovely little thing. It just sits in the corner so quietly. The blue LED is a bit bright though!
Bmouthboyo
N54L is about 5000 baht in the UK at moment with HP cashback! Is there anywhere I could pick up a N54L, 15900 is a lot of money.

"A lot of money" depends on what are going to use it for Sent from my Nexus 5 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
Guest
How does these microservers differ from normal desktops?
dharmabm
I'm using this lovely little device as a home server right now http://www.mini-mb.com/en/barebone/26-zbox-id18-4895173602290.html Comes without memory or hard drive, but takes up to 16gb of RAM and can use any type of drive - I'm using it as a file server and a VM host running only 8gb of ram, and am very satisfied with cost/benefit. I looked at the N54 a few years ago and can probably find my links to the sellers I found, but they are WAY overpriced here Sent from my Galaxy Nexus SlimKat using Tapatalk Edited February 26, 2014 by dharmabm
sustento
I've got my N54 full. 8GB of RAM and 4 x 2TB disks. I believe they can take 3TB disks but they were a bit expensive when I bought it in the UK.
Bmouthboyo
How are you finding the N54L? I have a mate bringing one over from the UK in a few months. Do you use it as a HTPC?
