Is it just me, but whats a 14 year old doing with a 21 year old guy ??, was her parents not concerned... ?? about the age difference..

I have in my past lived /worked in countries which were inherently far more dangerous than Thailand, however , in these countries the difference was that it was an open and accepted fact that they were a corrupt, violent, lawless and venal society.There were no pitiful excuses made in an attempt to justify the apparent lack of social responsibility, conscience or behavior. It was lawless and accepted as such.

Here in Thailand there are two clear parallels , the way it really is and the way it is promoted which are in stark contrast. This is to all intent and purpose this is also a lawless ,corrupt and most venal society which simply accepts the way things are and merely tries to candy coat everything through outright lies ,indifference and massive coverups. No mater how you try to polish a turd... it is still a turd.

Hopefully the girl will recover from her trauma. Sorry Dude, but no female Ever recovers from such a situation. Suffering from mental and physical torture while being a captive, stays with you mentally your entire life, which most males will never comprehend.

Why are the police not pointing their finger at the suspect? Must be a new photographer. They should send this man to Pakistan and give him to the Taliban.

The Taliban will either cut his hands off or make him a general ( depending if she is a student and attending school )

The Taliban don't care what happens to girls but they sure like little boys. I know as I was in Afghanistan and talked to numerous young men that had been captured and abused by the Taliban. And it is still happening. Reference the article below.

and you would know this because????? As one post has already said, how do we know she didn't want this, she could have walked out,she could have phoned for help before. Women can be very manipulative even a 14 year old. In my village there was a village "marriage" between a 14 year old girl and a 20 year old man,she told him she was pregnant (she wasn't) hence the marriage,it was a scheme cooked up by her parents to get the dowry money and since she would get a cut of the cash she agreed. When the man discovered she wasn't pregnant he kicked her out but her parents refused to give the money back. New motorbikes all round.

the guy padlocked his room door from the outside but oops... left a phone in the room... nice move...possible? drug problem from previous and a little jealousy and bang ..abduct the 14 yr old gf for talking to other boys or posting on facebook... yikes... oh well at least they caught him before anything worse was done...yes the 14 yr old thai girls sure love that older boyfriend deal...and vice versa as well - but it happens everywhere
