renewal of tourist visa at the immigration office

Hi,

I have just finished a teaching programme and I am now going to travel within thailand. Please can anyone let me know if I can pay to extend my double entry tourist visa without leaving the country? I would need to renew for 30 days.

Each entry on a 60 day tourist visa can be extended by 30 days for 1,900 baht at any immigration office.

To activate the second entry you will need to leave the country and return.
