Loosing count

Not sure about all the Govt "Pledging-Schemes" anymore:

- Rice pledging-scheme.

- First Car buyers

- Gasoline subsidies

Those make the headlines. All the other "peanut-projects", ranging from Infrastructure to "Education" etc. etc.....????

Not that there are precise and trustworthy figures available, just rough estimates must produce astronomical amounts of outstanding debt.

Nevermind, if the burden for the Thai-Taxpayer should eventually get too heavy, the entry/departure tax at the airport will be raised to 50'000 Dollar per visitor. = Problem solved! Would be completely in accordance with Thai-Logic.

Cheers.

i thought this was another thread on sexual partners after reading the title .......coffee1.gif

Now I don't know much about Thai politics. But I have read about all of those pledging things in the Thai news forum with the politics behind the moves. And how one party likes em and the other party don't like them,

One of the reasons I read the general forum rather than the news forum is you don't have to read political threads here, It is a nice respite from the constant stream of Thai bashing one gets used to if reading the Thai news forum.

Is this a division of the Thai news and politics forum now?
