March 11, 201412 yr I have to drive to Bangkok from Pattaya to do some business at the British Embassy in Bangkok, which will involve hanging around for most of the day. Any suggestions on somewhere nearby I can park my car for a few hours? I don't mind paying as long as its not too extortionate. Alternatively, is there anywhere along the BTS line I could park and then jump on the Sky-train and walk to the embassy? Thanks guys...
March 11, 201412 yr I have parked at the hotel directly opposite, slipped the security guard a couple of hundred.
March 11, 201412 yr Tesco Lotus right next to On Nut BTS has a big car park and only seven, I think, stops to Ploenchit, not sure if they would charge to park. Would the bus to Ekkamai be an option? a few stops on the BTS and let someone else worry about the driving. If you want to take the car, you can park in Wave Place opposite the Embassy. theoldgit
March 11, 201412 yr I would certainly use the bus to Ekkmai and then BTS to Ploen chit. When your business is finished there are always plenty of buses returning to Pattaya.
March 13, 201412 yr Author I would certainly use the bus to Ekkmai and then BTS to Ploen chit. When your business is finished there are always plenty of buses returning to Pattaya. Thanks. I know the bus service well and have used it in the past. However, I live outside Pattaya city, some 30 minutes from the terminal, not very far from the Motorway to Bangkok, and I can be half way to Bangkok by the time I have driven to Pattaya and boarded a bus. Additionally, I don't trust bus drivers. Some are OK but some are positively dangerous. So I just need advice on a place to park. Thanks so far for all the suggestions. Mobi
