Can anyone tell me the process and the requirements for an American citizen and a Chinese citizen to get married in Thailand?

My GF does not want us to get married in China because the publicity might hurt her family's reputation. She can not get an F1 Fincee American Visa for at least a year. The F3 Visa can be processed much quicker but that requires that we get married. She wants to get married outside of China.

I see where Americans are marrying in Thailand all the time but they are marrying Thai citizens. What about two foreigners? An American Citizen and a Chinese Citizen?

I appreciate the help.
