homer
Anyone that have experience of working in the tourism/travel industry in SE Asia. Maybe you have some advice to give me? What about the job opportunities and what experience/skills do you need? Is there any good universities in Thailand for tourism studies? I have a bachelor degree in B.A, but want to change job and I´m plannig to study tourism. I have travelled a lot and SE Asia is the place I like most. And it would be very nice if you also could work there. I more intrested in working with "adventure" tourism rather than hotel management.

jonniebkk
i could be wrong...but isn't "tourism" and all it's related businesses one of the occupational areas "reserved" for Thais? if you were to bring in money to invest in some such travel, hotel or restaurant business and therefore were the owner of said business ok...but to "work" in the industry as an employee...maybe you better think again. the information is all at the thai govenment's dept of labour website.
