fly abroad

Featured Replies

i live ion Thailand and i have 1 year retirement visa already (MULTIPLE i paid already)

2 months passed only now above from my visa .

i will fly to abroad next week ;

Do i have to go to immigaration office again to get stamp?before i fly abroad or not ?

Thank you.

is your visa a one year multi entry obtained in a country outside Thailand

where you given a 90day permission to stay stamp on arrival

if the answer is yes to both and the visa is still valid then you just leave Thailand and on re-entry you will be given another 90 day permission to stay stamp

it seems you have an extension of stay (not a visa) you got from immigration and then got a multiple re-entry permit. If this is the case you do not need anything more from immigration.

If you truly have a multiple entry visa you got from an embassy or consulate you would not need anything either for as long as it is valid.

yes i have got Multiple re-entry permit from immigration service already 2 months ago .

and i have been told that i every 3 months should go there to Notify staying more than 90 days.

( if i keep stay inside thailand)

but i must go visit my country next week.

my visa is 1 year and still valid during 10 months. so between this 10 months ; i can re-enter thailand x time no problem as you said . so i can go direct to airport . no need to go immigration again. Thanks alot.

You do not have a visa !

What is contained in the passport is an "extension of stay" if there is also a multiple re-entry permit in the passport linked to the "extension of stay" then as many trips as desired may be taken during the validity period.

Open the the passport and check exactly what is there !

If a valid one year "visa" is found please scan and post here.

No need to go to immigration other than to do your report of staying in the country more than 90 days and you can mail those in at most offices.

MULTIPLE

LENGHT OF STAY

3.1.2015

You can leave and re-enter Thailand within the validity period of your extension of stay (03.01.2015 it seems) many times, since your re-entry permit is multiple.

Your 90 days reporting period will restart from the day you enter Thailand again.

That is quite right.

In fact on the rare occaisions I have to make a 90 day report Immigration at Suvarnibhumi don't even want to look at it.

Travel abroad within 90 days and your next 90 days will start when you enter the Kingdom again.

When you do re-enter, write your multi-entry visa number as your visa number on the landing Card.
