March 30, 201412 yr This is a bit of a bizarre post but here goes. During my many visits to watch dealers in Bangkok I have often seen the high-end watches "shrink wrapped" (for want of a better phrase) in plastic to protect the watch from scratches. Stupidly when i was there last week I didn't ask them how they do it. Does anyone have any idea how they do and what "plastic" they are using? Or alternatively could someone ask a dealer such as Papaya in MBK for me? Many thanks RAZZ

March 30, 201412 yr The bags they use are available on the street in Thammasat area, most use them to cover coins, they come in all sizes. You insert the watch, and get out your BIC lighter on a low flame and carefully shrink wrap them... easy as. You can also seal the ends very neatly, by using a cigarette case to clamp one (open) end at a time and burn till it forms a seal, repeat other end. If the plastic 'makes a crinkle sound' like celophane, its all good.... don't say I never do any for 'ya!! Oz

I'm not sure the suggestions so far are how they do it? Might see a few examples on here: http://www.9naliga.com or http://www.papayawatch.com/productlist.php?id=002 RAZZ Edited March 30, 201412 yr by RAZZELL
