What date does the holiday exodus actually start this year ?

Those that can will take off Friday 11th in order to avoid the worst of the traffic which will be that evening.

A much smaller number will have the whole next week off, use sick days whatever.

Wednesday and Thursday of that week will be the worst of the return traffic.

I personally try to travel to arrive before 6am.
