translation services near embassies

Featured Replies

i know there are several translation service places near the embassies on wireless road, can anyone recommend one that we can EMS our docs to and have them ready to pick up when we go to the embassy. i don't want to wait around in bangkok for the translations.

unless there is a place that can do the translations while we wait? we need to translate marriage certificate, wife's divorce certificate and birth certificate to english

thx

I used Express Translation Service, I emailed the documents to them and picked them up on my way to the embassy, their office is right by the skytrain station.

As with all services though, give yourself enough time to check they got everything right.

I would suggest you are actually there to check the translations.

There were several mistakes that required correcting when we had the marriage certificate and other documents translated.

It was obvious they used "cut and paste" from other translations, dates and places not correct.

Luckily my wife was there with me as I do not read Thai.

We used the same place for the Affirmation before the wedding and after for the Marriage Certificate and other documents, they took about 1 hour each time, plus about 15 minutes for the corrections and re-printing.

I won't "name and shame" as I suspect this is the way they all operate.
