Nice custom furniture in Pattaya?

Can someone please recommend a shop that makes nice custom furniture using massive wood in Pattaya or nearby?

If you can swing the trip, it's worth heading to Hang Dong, just outside of Chiang Mai. It is pretty much ground zero for everything hand made in Thailand. They have endless stores of custom made and pre-made furniture. Can't think of a better place to go to if you want to furnish a home.

Chances are, anything you find in Pattaya was made here and marked up.

If you like solid teak then check out My Thai opposite the Outlet mall on Theprasit. There are actually 3 separate showrooms and some people think they are different businesses. They will make anything you want and their factory is local.

Problem I see with these (good) places is that they seem to all be overbooked.

Many have big projects (like full kitchen for new condos)

and are not interested when you want a custom bookshelf only...

My Thai will do small jobs, friends and I have had small pieces custom made.
