BANGKOK: -- A 500,000 baht reward has been offered to any police who manage to arrest Wutthipong Kotthammakhun, alias Ko Tee, wanted on lese majeste charges within seven days.

The bounty was offered by Phra Buddha Isara, a leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee. He said the bounty offer was intended to give an incentive to the police to arrest the suspect.

The monk today (Friday) filed a complaint with Khu Kot police against Wutthipong accusing him committing lese majeste and sedition.

He said that he would travel to the other police stations to file complaints against Ko Tee.

The Criminal Court is expected to issue a warrant for the arrest of Ko Tee wanted by police on lese majeste charges.

Pol Colonel Witchayakorn Nichabovorn, deputy spokesman of the National Police Office, said Friday that the national police chief, Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew, had ordered the Crime Suppression Division police to collect all relevant evidences needed to seek the court’s arrest warrant expected today.

Meanwhile, immigration police and the border patrol police have been ordered to be on the watch out for Wutthipong who may try to sneak out of the country to neighbouring countries, said the colonel, adding that the Thai Interpol were instructed to coordinate with the Interpol to look for the suspect in case he may have already left the country.

Besides Wutthipong, she said that a manhunt was also under way for the other lese majeste suspect, Aekkapob Luara, alias Tang Archiva.

LESE MAJESTY LAW
Phra Buddha Issra files complaint against redshirt leader

BANGKOK: -- A senior monk supervising the Chaeng Wattana rally site on Friday filed a complaint with two police stations against a redshirt leader for allegedly insulting the monarchy.

On Friday morning, Phra Buddha Issara and anti-government protesters asked Bangkok’s Don Muang police station to take legal action against Wuthipong Kotthammakhun, also known as Ko Tee.

In the afternoon, the monk filed the same complaint with Kukot police station in Pathum Thani province.

The monk said Wuthipong’s recent interview with a foreign press violated the lese majeste law. The recorded interview has been widely shared on the social networks and police have now warned the public against viewing or sharing it as they could be violating both computer and lese majeste laws.

He gave police seven days to take action concerning the matter otherwise he would return to the police station.

The money is not Issara's money. Yes the police might actually do something if bribed enough, money of that amount can mean more to someone than keeping a secret. Yes, the reds are trash ( not all admittedly but a lot ) and they work for Thaksin who is the reason for all this red and whatever else crap, a great many of them are violent scum, such as the wanted thug in this case...

I think it's absurd that this guy 'said something' to the foreign press, we have no idea what he said because it is suppressed (but we know he didn't directly threaten anyone, and he says he never said it) and we can goto jail just for repeating it whatever it is,.. and now he's this countries biggest criminal , with a massive reward like he's a serial killer.. wheres the freedom of speech?

The video is still on the internet if you go looking. He did threaten someone. The person he threatened was not allowed under Thai law.

He stated he will start a civil war and he will personally "light the first explosion"

500,000? Loser isn't worth that amount. Let him rot away in Cambodia like the other red shirt trash who break the law but are too cowardly to stay around and face the music. bah.gif

Agree...you're dead right.....but I'de be happy to see him get 15 years......just wish he'd take a few of his mates along with him.

The cops will probably get the 500K

Vigilante justice is no justice at all, no matter what the case.

This specimen is probably responsible for most of the attacks around the BKK protest sites. He is probably equally responsible for an unknown amount of deaths.

Who cares what method takes him down, as long as he is taken down.... Preferably by a bullet rather than prison.

Red shirt trash????? What about suthep and his band of thugs? They are the ones that started all of this by stopping everyday people from voting and beating them also if they tried to vote???? But that is ok because stuhep is the SUPREME LEADER . Right????????????????????????????????

What about Suthep? He's here in Bangkok and at Lumpini every night. If the police want him, they know where to find him. And yes red shirt trash who run away like little b%tches if the wind blows against them.

The post is about Ko Tee...not Suthep....and anyway....he hasn't run away though like these red scumbags
