changing residence every week!is this a problem?

Featured Replies

say i live in a weekly hotel in bangkok for a week. then go to pattaya for a week. then bkk again, then pattaya again, ad infinitum.

is this acceptable living arrangements for keep a retirement extension alive.

im currently on the non-0 90 day extension going for retirement extension in begin of may.

It should not be a problem. The only way it could get problematic would be changing offices for your annual extensions.

Doing 90 day reports at different place would require having an address for he place your report.

If you picked an office that allows mail in 90 day reports you could but you would need a permanent mailing address.

In a German language forum, a member reported that he had no problem doing 90 day report in Pattaya/Jomtien while on an extended trip using a hotel receipt.

Sound plausible, because by legal means the hotel has to report your stay to immigration anyway (within 24h).

does immigration even physically check on people address? i wouldnt be lying or anything i really do move hotels a lot!

They don't check to confirm the address you put on your extension application. But some immigration office require solid proof of residence such as a rental agreement.
