baggies666
Hello My friend age 35 is planning a couple of long stays in Thailand, his plan sounds ok but I know very little of the rules, at the moment he is on an education visa 1st one in passport, last year just normal tourist for one month. When his visa or extension to stay finishes next year Feb he is planning on going back to the UK for a couple weeks then applying for a triple tourist visa there as they currently issue them, after using the time up with that he plans to go back on a education visa for another year before heading back to the uk. The reason for the break of ed visa to tourist is that he wants to study for the 1st year but then spend time travelling around Thailand not studying on the 9 months part, it seems an ok plan to me?? ubonjoe
No problem. It is always best to make a trip home to get a visa. It looks much better than getting them from nearby locations all the time.
