riki48
Hi All Anybody know where you can purchase off the shelf flat pack kitchen units with choice of doors etc, something like what B+Q and Wickes stock in UK.. I know Ikea do them but I'm in Pattaya so somewhere closer would be better. Riki

bkk_mike
I have to agree with the word termites... We ended up getting the kitchen doors replaced with hand-made teak ones (termites can't seem to eat through proper tropical hardwood).

Just kidding mate , but anyway check these url's http://www.dchieftain.com/2013/05/09/termite-activity-can-be-controlled. http://www.doityourselftermitecontrol.com/termitebaiting.htm You'll have to read these pages thoroughly, critically and put 1 and 1 together yourself and you might be able to create a pretty good system for peanuts to keep this kind of pests away from your home. jpeg
Even tropical hardwood has a somewhat limited shelf life (rain/sun/rain/sun/rinse repeat. And you're thinking of shelling out anything at all for a 'flat pack', and kitchen to boot You're not in Barnsley any more. Do yourself a favour and invest in something like this http://www.chengdesign.com/
