Hi,

My tourist visa finishes on the 26th April what's the best course of action or border crossing to make to get it extended for as long as possible?

Best border crossing depends where you live/stay of course, and you forgot to mention that.

Do you have a tourist visa from an embassy or consulate? Or do you have a 30 day visa exempt entry you got on arrival?

What country are your from?

How long do you plan on staying here?

-Would like to stay another 60 days.

If you do a border run you will only get a 15 day visa exempt entry (not a VOA). Or you could fly out and back for 30 days.

The only extension you can get is is 7 days at immigration.

The best option would be to get a a tourist visa. Vientiane Laos would be a good choice. You can fly from CM to Udon Thani (Nok Air has fly/ride to Vientiane) and theni by van to the bridge in Nong Kai.

A tourist visa would give a 60 day entry that you can extend for 30 days at immigration.
