Pak Gaad Kao (types of Chinese cabbage)

Featured Replies

I understand that Pak Gaad Kaao refers to two vegetables in Thai.

I have attached a list and would appreciate someone advising me if this is so.

Thank you.

I don't appear to have received a reply for this (although I thought I did). We did have a discussion regarding PAK GAAD KAAO and PAK GAAD KAAO PLII and that enquiry has been resolved.

Could someone confirm if PAK GAAD KAAO relates to both of these vegetables?

If it only applies to one, could you also tell me the Thai name of the other?

Thanks for your help. Sorry for the confusion.

Dear napawan28,

Thank you for your reply.

Do you mean that PAK GAAD KAAO only applies to Brassica rapa Pekinensis (Chinese cabbage/napa cabbage)?

If so, can you please tell me what the other vegetable, in the photo on the right side of my earlier attachment (Brassica rapa Chinensis) - Bok Choi is called in Thai?

I appreciate your help.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I understand now and appreciate your help. I have actually been through that list, but didn't notice it.
